Cannabis Fundamentals is our upcoming introductory course and it is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the cannabis industry and foster the skills and education necessary to take advantage of every opportunity. Students will learn about the diverse aspects of the industry and how to enter the field based on their individual backgrounds. The goal of this curriculum is to enable students to identify transferable skills to careers in the emerging Cannabis industry. Throughout the curriculum, students will listen to industry experts, learn important vocabulary, and participate in activities to further their knowledge of the Cannabis business and career opportunities. Through video and audio resources, students will be exposed to some of the challenges that industry leaders have faced and overcome. Students will also use resources to compare and distinguish differences in cannabis laws from state to state.
Budtender Experience - The Science and Art of Budtending​

BudTender Experience

Course: The Science and Art of Budtending

Budtender Experience is a community experience designed to prepare individuals interested in working in a medical and adult-use cannabis dispensary. It covers various aspects of the cannabis industry, including its history, products, strains, and legal and regulatory frameworks. The course The Science and Art of Budtending is part of this program and it provides practical training on day-to-day dispensary operations such as customer service, product handling and inventory management. It also covers topics related to safety and security, and educates students on the medical benefits of cannabis, potential risks, and safe consumption practices. Upon completion, students will be equipped to work in a dispensary, provide excellent customer service, maintain compliance, and contribute to the dispensary’s success. The course content is regularly updated to include information on the latest products on the market.

Our Cannabis Business 101 course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the cannabis industry and foster the skills and education necessary to take advantage of every opportunity. Students will learn about the diverse aspects of the industry and how to enter the field based on their individual backgrounds. The goal of this curriculum is to enable students to identify the skills that are transferable to careers in the emerging Cannabis industry.

The Science and Art of Budtending

The Science and Art of Budtending course is designed to provide comprehensive training for individuals who are interested in working in a medical and adult-use cannabis dispensary. The course will cover various aspects of the cannabis industry, including the history of cannabis, the various types of cannabis products, the different strains of cannabis, and the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding cannabis. The course will also provide practical training on the day-to-day operations of a dispensary, including how to greet and serve customers, how to properly store and handle cannabis products, and how to manage inventory. In addition, the course will cover topics related to safety and security, such as identifying and preventing theft, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and maintaining a safe and secure working environment. Throughout the course, students will learn about the medical benefits of cannabis and how to assist customers in choosing the right products for their needs. This course provides detailed content on the products sold in your area. Students will also learn about the potential risks and side effects of cannabis use and how to educate customers on safe consumption practices. Upon completion of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to work in a medical and adult-use cannabis dispensary.
